Height 6' (1.83 m) Mini Biography Shomari Downer was born August 24 in Toronto, Ontario. Raised in Scarborough, Shomari went to high school at Neil McNeil. Eventually not being happy he transferred to Jean Vanier were he met a woman that changed his life as well as lifestyle, Ms. Jack-Vermey also known as Ms. Jack, his improv coach and friend. Helping him walk through the doors for the Arts it was only a matter of time for the world to see who Shomari Downer was and what he has to offer to the world. Not only is Shomari an exceptional actor but he is also a musician, producer, and songwriter. Shomari started pursuing music first as a way to express his feelings on everyday life, eventually those feelings grew and he had to take it to the next level... theatre. His music has given him the opportunity to travel, always representing Toronto every step of the way. He has been as far as England where he now has a home base and flys there from time to time when he wants to get away from the world as well as pursue his music. So far he has appeared in the films, (American Pie Presents, Four Brothers, and Nurse Fighter Boy). He's also appeared on the TV series (Missing, G-Spot, and the Pilot Two Kings) produced by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. In theatre he was in the 2008 production (Born Ready) and 2009 production (Secrets of a Black Boy). Shomari Downer has come a long way with so much done and so much more to come, it's a given that this is what he was born to do and the great thing about it is... he's just getting started. Trivia Is good friends with Actress JaNae Armogan, they also worked together in the hit film "Four Brothers".
